Since it was founded, Aquarium Systems has always put environmental protection at the heart of its priorities (development of tropical fish breeding to avoid taking specimens from the wild, coral farming to restore coral reefs...). Our aim is to minimise the impact of our products on the environment. We prefer to develop pumps according to the flow required rather than harnessing big, energy-guzzling pumps. In 5 years, we have managed to reduce consumption of our products by more than 25%: where a filter would consume 5 W before, we have developed the Cobra, the first green filter that consumes only 2.6 W. The Newave range has helped to reduce consumption by more than 40% compared with old generation circulation pumps. Finally, the new NewJet range, with electronic control system, reduces consumption by more than 20%.
