Magnesium is an essential macro element that assists in the regulation of calcium and carbonate concentrations. Low level of Magnesium will cause calcium and carbonate to bond rapidly. Excessive level will lead to precipitation and will drop calcium and carbonate levels resulting in a false uptake. ASF Magnesium Booster is designed to restore and maintain Magnesium to levels found in natural seawater. It allows easy adjustement of the magnesium content and improves the growth of corals and invertebrates. The optimal Magnesium level is between 1200-1380 ppm.
