• It provides calcium and maintains alkalinity to foster better growth in soft and stony coral, molluscs, tube worms and calcareous and coralline algae.
• It also helps to maintain the pH and precipitates phosphates.
Mixing instructions :
• Mix 1-1 1/2 teaspoon Reefkalk for each gallon of osmosis water
• Stir vigorously. Allow mixed solution to settle until clear.
• Add clear solution slowly to aquarium by pouring into the mowing current created by a powerhead or by using a drip system. After 4 days use new powder.
• Keep calcium levels in the 400-450 ppm range.
• A 20-25 % change of aquarium water using Reef Crystals is strongly recommended each month in order to maintain water quality.
